I don't believe the narrative that the Israeli and US attack on Iran is because Israel and the US think that's their only way to stop Iran developing a nuclear bomb. What evidence is there that Iran has been trying to develop a bomb since the fatwa against doing so? Iran said, and it seems reasonable to me, that it is their right to enrich uranium and they do so as a bargining chip to end the sanctions on their country. Did not Iran offer to give up all of its enriched uranium the day before Israel and the US began bombing Iran? To me, it seems that Israel and the US want to destroy Iran as a regional power, and as the Donald said he is planning to send Iran back to the stone age. Israel and the US, I think, want a balkanized and disfunctional state that they can plunder. The US talking of negotiations with Iran and fears of nuclear bombs are merely theatre to make the populations in the west think this isn't just about destroying yet another country.

Excellent analysis, again, although as an Israeli I'm a bit disappointed on your ignoring the "constructive" role that Israel's Netanyahu played in creating this idiocy.
